Preparation Time:
0.5 hours
Ingredients

  • 1 poblano pepper, cut in half and seeds removed
  • 1 shallot, peeled and cut in half
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp champaign vinegar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp orange juice
  • 3 tbsp fresh cilantro
Cooking Instructions
Coat the poblano and shallot in olive oil and broil until charred, turning once, about 8 minutes.

In a blender combine salt, honey, orange juice, roasted vegetables, vinegar, cilantro, and garlic. Pulse until combined. With the blender running, drizzle in vegetable oil.

Notes
Amazing sauce. Good on just about anything. I especially like it on pork and chicken.
